Mentorship is advice. Skills Coaching is practice and feedback.
Mentorship
If you have questions about working in tech, breaking into backend or data roles, or navigating your career, mentorship is a good fit.
This is a free, informal offering focused on:
- Career direction and decision-making
- Industry insight and expectations
- High-level guidance on what to learn next
You’ll get advice and perspective but you are responsible for driving your own learning and progress.
I've helped over 50 people get into and stay in tech. I currently manage bookings for new mentees via ADPList. Existing mentees may email me directly for scheduling.
Technical Skills Coaching
This is for engineers who want to actively improve their technical or core skills through structured, ongoing support.
Much like a sports coach, I work with you to:
- Assess your current skill level
- Identify gaps and weaknesses
- Practice with targeted exercises
- Review your work (code, designs, decisions)
- Provide direct, actionable feedback
This is a paid, structured engagement with regular sessions and clear progression towards outcomes, over time.
